Thoughts on my baby names

Hi Everyone,

We're staying team yellow and have a few boys and girls names, trying to talk my OH into some of them but he needs a bit more convincing. Surname is White which makes my name choices difficult, for a girl we have:

Grace (OH's fave, quite popular though), Erin, Eve, Kara, Primrose, Sky

(I really love primrose, but OH worries Primrose White sounds like a paint colour). Also is Sky White a bit hippyish?

For a boy we have Frazer (my maiden name, fave for both of us), Aiden, Finlay, Noah, Rees, Sebastian

Let me know your thoughts.

Hi, sorry to say sort of agree that primrose and poss sky as well in a way sound a little like paints :s but could just be over thinking it.

I'm bias so love the name Erin as its my name and have always had compliments (interestingly my surname was whiteley do not dissimilar) I do really like eve too though, it's cute and short both winners for me.

Like Noah and Sebastian most in the boys names

i really like Grace and Sky. and for boys i agree with Noah and Sebastian. im having a girl but if we were having a boy my mum was hoping i would choose Sebastian x

I love your name choices. I really liked the same Aidan, spelt Ayden and its really stuck in my head, but every name i like just gets thrown back im feeling like he'll never have a name. I loved the name Skye for a girl, would say grace is over popular in my area too, but that doesn't mean you don't go with what you want. My favourite out of those would be - Frazer and Aidan. And Erin (really like that name) and Kara. Just because I don't think skye goes with White? It's so fab you have a shortlist! You're doing well! x

Erin is the name I have chosen if we have a girl next, and I also agree with Primrose & Sky - however love all the names you have chosen for both sexes!

Hi everyone thanks so much for your thoughts, really helps to get an objective opinion on them, cos that's what will happen in the real world.

Who'd have thought White would be so hard to match a name to. My fave girl name is actually Isla, but there's no way we can call it Isla White, grrrrr!

my faves of those are Erin and Eve for a girl and Frazer or Sebastian for a boy I'm not too keen on Primrose or Sky but that's just me It's exciting when you start to get a shortlist isn't it

Haha isle white made me chuckle hehe it's a shame but at least you realised it. We've got a Mc surname which I quite like to match names with.

I'm sure you'll choose the perfect name when the time comes I almost wish we hadn't picked a clear winner so early on but just seemed to go that way!

Oh I love Primrose. So cute. Primrose White wouldn't bother me in the slightest. I can't even bare to think about names anymore, it really stresses me out haha. I love Sebastian but its my brothers best friends name xx

Love primrose , go for it, im a jones so totally understand on matching names, but don't think of paints at all with that

I love Isla White and I would do that just for the giggles!

I wouldn't worry so much about your surname, my surname is rubbish (my married one anyway) and I don't think it goes with anything. My maiden name is Italian which would also be hard to match but it sounds so much nicer haha

I love Sebastian (my LOs middle name) if I liked Seb it would have been his first name but I hate Seb and there was no doubt people would have shortened it.
Also Love Noah.
