This kid just won't eat!

I am getting only 5-8 mins worth of milk into Tilly chops before she goes mental and won't drink any more.

It's starting to get on my nerves now. It used to only happen occasionally but now it's happening every feed.

I'm gonna jack in the breastfeeding if it carries on. I've seriously had enough

Torino is it possible to get too hot maybe and uncomfortable? Maybe when you get the teething gel will see a difference.
how about expressing and giving her a bottle?
you did so good, if it comes to formula eventually there is absolutely nth wrong with that.

I'm gonna get some teething stuff today and see how that goes.

I know she's not getting enough and then that's affecting her sleep too.

It's really frustrating

Does teething affect feeding then?

harry has been terrible for fussing over eating for past few days, only lasting 5 mins on one side before kicking off, i'm pretty sure its teeth too.

no advice here but i hope someone else does, i have teething gel but not tried it yet

Tyler only ever fed for about 10 mins (apart from growth spurts) and has now gone down to 5-7 mins and goes 3 hours plus. Don't forget babies get more efficient at getting milk out!

Trust your body and your baby! If you are worried go get weighed!

K only takes a few minutes to eat from each side now, and it happened really quickly. She went from taking thirty minutes total to ten max in a couple days. Could she ve fussing because she's not hungry? If she's going through a growth spurt too that would be why she wants to eat more often, or is she hungry again as soon as she is done?

it could be teeth, Alyssa is terribly fussy about her milk when shes teething bad, only wants boob or cold bottles and sometimes just screams at the boob. i just try her again later but maybe express and see if that helps

She looks like she's frustrated and gets really cross etc.

Sometimes if I try again she will latch on and drink for longer but that's becoming less common.

I've just tried to feed her expressed milk and she only took 3oz.

alyssa went thru a phase where she would only take 3 oz or so. maybe she got more than you thought earlier. i dunno what to suggest hun

It's so frustrating isn't it? Its driving me potty. I accept that she does it a little bit but when it's every feed it's getting to be a bit too much

Is it wind making her cry? Lula gets like that when she has trapped wind or is over tired. She rarely feeds longer than 8 mins too.

That sounds like wind to me, we used to have the same and I used to have to burp H about 5 or 6 times a feed.

She is very windy. I might crack out the infacol again haven't used that in ages. She normally burps but she can still be fractious after that.

Lula is a nightmare to wind, she really holds on to it. Even with infacol I can't always get it out and it's causinng green poos (the wind causing it), well I think that's what's causing it!
