this is a bit TMI but please help....(regarding show)

i had (what i hope was) my show today, but thinking about wen i had 1 wi chloe, it was basically just a pink blob of jelly this time ive bn 2 tolilet bout 3 times(joys of bein preg) and is a little blood wen i wipe.... is it my show or sumthin 2 worry bout

Not a mum Yvanne, but was told a little bit of blood shouldn't be a worry, only if it's loads at this stage of the game.

Any kind of movement is a sign things are happening! Give your midwife/hospital a call if you're worried.

it does sound like the start of things..i got well excited when i had my show (you might remember) but it can still be few days before anything substantial happens..i had a small show, and then i had a bigger one a few days later after my sweep on the friday...i had cramping with the second one and thats when i was 1cm i had hayden on the sunday so it was like the very starting stages but its different for eveyone and as this is your second baby it could be much quicker!! woo...how exciting

Well when i was having owen, I had my show on a tuesday and by wednesday night I was having contractions and had him 9.55am thursday morning.!

It defin sounds like it's starting for you!

It's hard not to get too excited though I tried not too but excitement just took over well until contrations started anyway!

yay..take paracetomol and take a warm bath to see if they ease off..if not and they get worse still then you'll know!

i was able to do that 3 times when i was in the beginning stages..once i was more advanced the painkillers and warm bath didnt work anymore!

woo are you excited? lol i was in denial babes when i was on all fours crying in agony and my mum was trying to get me in the car to go hospital (i had it in my head they were gonna send me home!)

your show is like a bloody discharge that comes away at teh end of pregnancy, it can be bloody or pinkish, is like discharge only coloured lol is called a mucus plug

have u had any cramp like pains? Have u timed them?
I had braxton hicks contractions for like 4 weeks b4 i had jaycee, they were strong and made my belly hard so it was hard to tell when i was actually IN labour so i was constantly using the stopwatch on my phone LOL!! Jaycee was 5 days early.
My braxton hicks were so bad 4weeks b4 my due date they had me on a monitor saying i might be in labour!! So strong!! weird!

Does 'show' happen when your waters break? Cuz my water broke with my first child and all I remeber is A LOT of water, but no bloodiness or anything.
