Think We All Need Some Love!

It sounds like loads of us on here are having a really tough time with our LO's in this hot weather right now so I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can all give hugs and encouragement to keep going and not get stressed.

I know I need it.

yeah thanks! Haydens a nightmare he was up at 5 so i brought him into my bed stripped him to his nappy
and he was tossing and turning for an hour bless him he was too hot to sleep- hes been a grumpy boy today and won't eat!
just lay him on the sofa with the fan on and hes moaning and whinging i feel sorry for him!

Oh god, after last night/this morning and ALL day it's been hard!
She's been up since 2am, having 15-20 mins since. Then 5am she wanted feeding so laid her on the bed. 6am she screamed bloody murder til about 8am! I've never heard a cry like it. I thought she was in pain! I laid her on the bed under the ceiling fan but she just can't chill. She's finally asleep on the floor now. Just hopefully we get a bit more sleep tonight.

Yes lots of hugs to everyone, after another hot day and grumbly baby, she is now just having a quick snooze on my bed, Then its of for a nice refreshing bath i think.

i dunno whats going on with these babies...im extreamly stressed today with teds..he was upa bout 10 times last night ahveing night terrors.. had to lift him out of the cot every time to get him to settle coz he was screaming sooo loud he woke charl twice.. hes not sleeping much even in teh day and he is grumpy to..hes not settlng at all.. walking in the pram in the sling, playing toys car ride.. playing peekaboo.. everything else.. nothing is ok for him. he doesnt wanna go down or be picked up.. doesnt want bottles or food..i just cant understand what he wants have just given him calpol..coz its the last resort.. its the last thing i can think of doing poor babies

aww everyone can have a Tillytots hug (very special you know!! ) Me and James were doing the rain dance earlier to try and bring on the rain to cool it down obviously it didnt work but he found it funny

I gave James calpol in the end last night too for the same reason

I've been really lucky then... lil miss isn't really waking any more than she did before hand... 2/4 times a night has been the norm since she was 4 months. She wakes up for a little drink and thats it really... It was worse last week, but she was really quite ill with her urine infection.

But for those of you not used to the rigours of naughty wakeful babies.... I give you all these I always find I feel worse if lil miss sleeps well at night because my body isn't used to it... so I would assume that the opposite is true too...

Thanks debbie, had a nightmare night last night with lady bug, she was so hot and has a new toth poking its way through the bottom as well which wasnt helping - with less layers and calpol shes sleeping well fingers crossed, hope lil man does for you too hun.

For everyone ...

Im lucky ryan has been going to bed at 10.30 and still sleeping right through till at least 7 then goes back to sleep after a bottle but in the day its horrible because hes not drinking properly, its to hot to go out but to hot to stay in, you stand at the window but theres not even a breeze!!!!, i need to strighten my hair but theres no point as its dripping with sweat!!! lol. i have to change my clothes once every hour cos there soaked lol ARRRRGHHH ryan is hating it at the moment, he seems to be really grumpy

Finn went to sleep at 8 last night (by some miracle of God I managed to get him to sleep - the previous nights it's been 10/11ish!) but woke up crying at 1am and by 2am we'd had enough so he slept between us last night. I'd get him off to sleep, put him in his cot and 5 minutes later he'd be crying again!
