They put my dates back already!

Saw the midwife for the first time, at nearly 12 weeks! From the date of my last period, I worked out that my EDD is 12-2-09. (Every internet site has told me this too) Yesterday, the midwife looks at my dates and says it should now say I'm due 15-2-09 because they are calculating it different now. WTF? She wouldn't really explain it to me either, just saying the hospital calculates it differently than the GPs. Why are they doing this now?

I've not heard of that - I'm the same as you calculate my due date as the 14th Feb! and so does every internet site too, but when I went for my scan they put me a day behind - even though it said on the screen 11 weeks 6 days the sonographer said 'we'll call it 11 weeks 5 days' I was like 'Why???' and then she said that makes you due on Feb 12th. So I was put a day behind but my due date moved 2 days forward! I just don't get it!

what measurements measured you at 11weeks 6 days?

my head measurement was 14w 3 days but crown to rump length was 13w6d so that the dates we went from.

just thought that might clear up any date confusion?

also fertilisation can take place up to 3 days after intercourse.
