We have only told my parents and our eldest son found out that we are calling our little boy Noah. We love it and my mum adores it and calls him it already!
We decided to keep it a secret from everyone else because we at the end of the day it's our choice and i didn't want anyone saying anything that would put me off!
If you like the name then thats whats important, its not like its a name where he would be picked on! actually i think it sounds like a famous name!
the only opinions that matter are the babys mother's and the baby father's. if ur both happy with the names bugger everyone else! fwiw i like those names
Hun it does not matter if they like it or not, its your baby not theres.
My family did like like Jaeda my daughters name but I did so that was all that mattered.
Sorry but its so annoying when people say "oh I dont like that one, or this one"
hiya hun i'd have to say who cares if otehr people don't like the babies name you and your oh chose isn't it more imortant for you and your oh to chose the name you both like and not what otehr people think? at the end of the day it's your baby and your oh's
Sod em!!
We all have different opinions and how bad would it be if we all liked the same
When i told my stepmother we are having Eden Pixie for a girl and Levi Matthew for a boy she said lets hope its a boy then as im not calling a baby that!!
We havnt told anyone else we know what we are having or what we are calling it so they can go swing
If you ask people, then everyone has an opinion and sometimes it won't be the same as yours. Main reason we never told people what names we had picked. Saved a lot of hassle not telling them thats for sure. Once LO was here and we announced his birth and name no one could really say anything anyways.
If you like the names you've chosen and are happy when your LO arrives that the name will suit your child as a baby and into adult hood then go for it.
Personally I'm not overly keen on Abe but I do like Isa End of the day, if you like it thats the main thing.
with number 3 my mum especially didn't like - she kept telling me it reminded her of her neighbour that i barely remember. i chose it anyway and now she cant imagine him being called anything else. its aidan.
with number 4 - we had pressure off mil to chose a name coz she was sick of us calling her baby.
i dug my heels in coz i wont be pressured by peeps. we chose leela, which she didn't really like but tuff
at the end of the day its what YOU like and want - SOD EVERYONE ELSE.
