There really is a baby in there!!!!!

Just got back from our early scan - our little bambino has a strong heartbeat and eveything is fine!!!!

I cant believe it, we really are having a baby. They said we are only 6 weeks and 3 days gone which is a week less than we thought - so still a long time to go but so far so good

Congratulations! I'm so nervous about my scan because so far everyone's just taking my word for it that I'm pregnant. I keep thinking what if I go and there's nothing in there?!

I know exactly what you mean mammabear! When is your scan - it really is amazing to hear them say the words "i can see baby!". I almost fell off the bed lol

It's on 14th March. I feel like I've been waiting FOREVER!! I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this... I'll make sure OH is there to catch me in case I fall off the bed!

That's excellent. I have my fingers crossed that the same thing happens to me. Did you go private for this scan? I'm hoping to get a private one done around 9weeks - ahh that's 2 weeks time. I hope I'm still preggo by then

I didnt go private, I was referred by the midwife to put my mind at ease due to previous mc.

2 weeks will fly by - and it will be worth the wait!

Fabulous news hon you must feel so relieved! Could you actually see much on the screen or was it just a heartbeat? Curious as I'm having a scan when I'm 7 weeks 5 days so just wondered what I'm likely to see x x

You could only see a shape and the flicker wwich he told us was the heartbeat. I think by 7 weeks and 5 days you will see a bit more as they are growing so fast. He measured "billy" and it was 7mm!!!!! Tiny!

He also gave us a photo but you really cant make out anything on that - made me feel a bit like Rachel on Friends!! He he
