is on.

So I had better get the tissues ready. I always cry at the end.

i really liked her this week but my DH thought she was horrid.

there was a programme on after about how it changed their lives, off ot find it on catch up in a minute

i didnt really like her, the way she said about the buggy she had to use undercover 'well obviously we have a much better buggy then this!!!'
i couldnt beleiev it! what did she expect, also when her husband dropped her off in a VW Passat! i thought she'd have a Merc or a BMW!!! :rotfl:

I liked her better than last week's. He was a right tool.

I didnt think she was as business astute as some of the others but she had only just made her first million, wonder how her finances are now that the housing market has taken a tumble?

Its all a tax dodge anyways  but Im sure the beneficiaries (sp) dont mind.

What gets me is they are allowed to work with kids and voulnerable people before the services have done a CRB check, that would never happen where I work, even if they had had one done for the pourpose of the show

I couldnt work out her relationship with her hubby they had elder boys but she had only been in the UK for 5 years so I am assuming they were together in Africa?

I said the same about the CRB check. I think it's all arranged where they will go AGES in advance and all the checks are in place  We were also trying to work out the relationship. Her English was fabulous so I figured they were together in Africa or she travelled to and fro a lot before settled. Of course it doesn't mean anything but both kids were mixed race so I assumed they were both his.

I missed it last night, watched the one after it about how it changed their lives tho!

aww that was lovely that couple had hearts of gold! I'm so glad that the millionaire became friends with that lady!

Where I work as long as someone has a CRB check less than a year old and can prove their identity we don't actually have to have issued it (we send instructors for PE lessons & after schools clubs in schools) so as long as they've had a CRB done I wouldn't have thought there's a problem with the millionaires working in those places.

I didn't like how the woman was with her son, she complained about how hard it was being a single mum and having him 'with no help' but then dumped him in that creche whenever she could. You could tell she doesn't spend much time with him in normal life.

I didn't watch the programme afterwards (too late for me!) but I'm going to see if it's on catch up tv & watch it tonight.

I really liked her.

She came from Africa and made a better life for herself investing in property, adn that's very commendable because it is such a huge gamble, there are a lot of risks involved but she just went for it.

I think the fact that she was finding it hard to be a single mum was simply because it was new to her., and she was just being honest about it. Even I would find it very hard because I have never been a single mum. And she put him in the creche so that she could focus on getting to know the rest of the community and help the others. Isn't that what the programme is about? And if i remember, the creche was in the same building as one of the projects she was helping (I think) But I agree with you on the CRB check thing. My husband is a teacher and he made a comment about the millionaire not being checked etc. but I told him she had probably had some sort of check prior to the show.
