One thing I have noticed is everytime I am out lots of women stare at me and my bump, Paul notices it too and he can't believe the looks I get.

Most are just women glued to my bump, the ocassional smile and then often I get an evil from some women ( mainly the ones in suits  ) I just put it down to the fact that they are jealous.

At first it botherd me and I would give an evil lol but now I don't take any notice because I am so proud to be a mum 2 b, Paul loves the attention I get he says it makes him feel proud to be holding my hand :D :cheer:

What sort of reception do you get from the public?

i dont get any yet, coz im not really showing, tho i hope i dont get evil looks!

everyone smiles at me an some stare lol

i got knocked by a school kid though not long ago :x

I've not got a noticeable bump yet, wish I did though - might get a seat on the bus occasionally!

I need to get one of these

Some woman TOUCHED me up in Tesco's once, I wanted to hit her. When else is it ever ok to touch strangers stomachs??!!

Head high and smile back Tash, you're doing a wonderful thing! :D

Everyone has a good look...the trouble is I live in a seaside town where everyone knows each other so you always get scrutinised.

Sometimes I get the odd person look down their nose at me, but mum says thats just jealousy lol

I dont care to be honest, like you Tasha im proud im a mum to be!

I have to admit sometimes I wear a particular black top which really shows off what I have.....

I LOVE it.

Little Minx I don't know how you held yourself back from saying something  I wouldnt like it either if a stranger touched my bump!

So really its pretty much the same for everyone whos showing.

One thing that shocks  me the most is being still eyed up by other men, lol its nice to have the attention still, but im shocked, I have a bump and I still get the interest

I would of thought it would be a put off, but then again they are still MEN of course and only think with there d*ck

Plus the fact that you are an ideal situation for them as there is no chance in hell the can get you preggers so for them its a win win, they get laid and have no chance someone is gonna call them daddy in 9 months!

Maybebaby i had a t-shirt like that :D

Tash ignore all the jelous buggers, they prob only stare 'cos their arses have slipped!!!!!! without being PG :rotfl:

Can't see why anyone should give anyone evils for being with bump - where do they think we come from lol. I was reading something in the paper once about a woman who said it was so nice before she gave birth as people gave her their seats and were lovely to er, whereas afterwards people just looked at her and baby like they were a nuisance... I've had loads of looks off blokes, but I reckon that's cause my boobs have got even more enormous lolololol. Starting to get some smiles now, but thankfully no one touching my bump yet!

I have been getting the strange stares and evils- but I must admit I remember feeling quite jealous after my mc whenever I saw someone pregnant and used to think 'why HER not ME' So i'm trying to remember how lucky I am and not get p***ed off with it
That said if a stranger touches my bump I will probably deck 'em  I might exclude little old ladies and small children---maybe

Jocymum I am exactly the same at the mo I generally lurk in the ttc section but wander into the others now and then. But I have to admit I do look at pregant belly and just wonder at the amazement of it all and generally think at the moment why not me I want one of them. Hoping I'll get my chance soon. BUT if anyone touched my bump I'd thump them I think that's very rude.

people used to do that 2 me aswell hun, wen i was pregnant with my other children
not started to get any looks yet, give it another couple of months then they will b stareing again and giving me evils!!
(sorry if that dont make sense, i know what i mean tho lol sometimes anyway)

I loved being pregnant and showing off my bump. It's just all so amazing.

I can't think why anyone would give you evil looks, it could be resentment you never know what's going on in peoples lives.

Show your bumps off with pride!

i get evils all of the time, maube it is because i am 19 and they think i am too young but i just think to myself, i have got a house, a job and a loving relationship everything i cud ever need so stuff em the misery guts lol x

I get a pretty mixed reaction too. Although one woman the other day stared so much at my bump even my 8 yr old noticed!!!
Then last week I caught the bus from the shops as I had very stupidly bought too much shopping to walk with and no one gave me a seat!!
If I saw a pregnant woman laden down with carrier bags I would give them a seat straight away. Its not as if my bump doesn't show as believe me it does!!!!
But the thing which really annoyed me is last weekend when we were visiting the mother in law. OH and brother in law went outside on the balcony to smoke. What did my considerate MIL do? stood right in front of me and lit up!!! Then proceeded to sit next to me and smoke!! I was so angry I moved to the other side of the room and said I couldn't continue sitting there as the smoke was making me sick. She then apologised and acted as if she had forgotton I was pregnant!

I've never had a dirty looks just lots of smiles and questions about when I'm due. Mums with prams are especially friendly, I must admit I always have a big smile for other pregnant ladies, its like we are in a club isn't it?

I would be so annoyed if a complete stranger randomly came up and touched my bump - how dare they

I remember when i was ttc i would look at others people bumps and babies longingly cos i so wanted it but i hope i never gave them evil looks and always had a smile on my face, and certainly didn't stare!!!

we should all be proud mums to be like you say tash. i am starting to get quite a bump now and OH keeps putting his hand on my tummy, i do like that - he's allowed!! :cheer:
