is going to be me tomorrow night. We have an 18th birthday party and i have nothing lovely to wear, i have never met these bloody people before and i dont want to go hpmhhh!
We dont have ANY maternity shops around here, i think the closest one is 30 miles away!! I have been to town today and came home in tears and i couldnt find anything to wear that actually fitted. I bought a lovely pair of trousers last week that fitted, they dont even meet in the middle anymore.
Mr A's sis is coming and i feel she looks down on me at the best of times with her size 10 figure compared to my 16+ and im dreading spending the evening with her and her know it all fiance.
I sooo want to stay at home in my jim jams and curl up infront if the TV. I am having a right grump on me today, can you tell???

God you sound like me, my sister is a tiny size 8-10 and im a 14 and growing now im pregnant, I have always been the lesser one in our family compared to my perfect sisters with their 2 children each and perfect figures.
Get out there and enjoy girl, sod em all i bet you are a much nicer person to be around than anyone who looks down their nose at others.

I was like that at my dads 50th and he had layed on a rose wine fountain and a champagne fountain free for whoever wanted it all night! rose wine is my tipple too
I was gutted!
turned out to be a good night I sort of took over taking the pictures of the night on peters camera it gave me summat to do instead of sitting all glum faced haha and at breakfast the next day i was fresh faced and alive and kicking!
I was in a mad panic over something to wear my dad gave me and my brothers money each to get ourselves something nice to wear and i couldnt find a friggin thing just wore things from my wardrobe white linen pants (with a bobble looped through the botton and hole haha) and a red and white smock top dress thingy then jazzed it all up with jewelry and make up.

dont worry just wear whats comfortable...

about 12am i went up 2 the hotel room and changed into a smock dress leggings and ugg boots cos my heels was killing!!!

LOl I did the bobble thing lat saturday..had my outfit planned, thought my black jeans would fit..did they heck!!

So had to go into town and get a new top as my bewbs are expanding, and usually a size 8 but just just got a bigger top in a twelve.
I just jazzed it all up with accessories.

I felt a bit of a dick as EVERYONE was smashed and having a right laugh...
Ikept telling them off for yelling in my ear!!

I just rolled with it and had fun..went home before everyone went clubbing, but they understood...its tiring not being pissed!!

Yay Ill be at my daddys 60th Birthday tomorrow. Fun fun fun.....lots of cola and had to choose off the menu with a whole 3things that I could actually eat because the rest was full of soft cheeses, pates and shell fish! lol!
I'm gonna sit and take lots of pictures the whole familly will probs be wasted so I'm going to end up DEZ too.

I got a dress its quite long and really puffy so will go over bumpyness. Try maxi dresses that type of thing.

Been on a course this evening and im knackered so oft to bed soon and then i shall spend all day planning what to wear tomorrow night and will no doubt end up with half my wardrobe over my bed by the time we leave lol!

i was just like this for a birthday party not long ago... found myself some dark maternity jeans & then a "normal" going out top just in a bigger size that naturally would have been baggy around the waist. i didnt feel like i was dressed up enough but no-one said anything so after a while i totally forgot about it. my top was cerise pink, maybe that was the distraction

I've not been out properly since I found out I was pregnant because of exactly the same kind of reasons! I'm not keen on drunk people when I'm sober, I've realised that drinking in excess is not very attractive even on the best looking people! I also feel huge and have no money to buy any decent clothes even if there were any maternity shops in the area! If I were you I'd dread it too but also sit wishing I had an opportunity to get out (my OH cant win at the mo!) Just hope that the skinny sister gets drunk, makes a fool of herself making her look ugly (all drunk people are!) and you can sit there looking blooming gorgeous and as for the know it all fiance, talk about piles, strechmarks, vomiting, heartburn and the potential risk of pooping during labour, should soon shut him up!

I have been out a few times and i think its great! I loe watching others get daft and drunk knowing Im sober, wont be making a fool of myself and wont feel it the next day!
I think I may even not drink when I have had pip as I still feel the same, just look better and get to laugh at things I would have missed if I had been P*ssed lol
