How long after having your baby did AF arrive..... i'm still waiting 7 weeks after birth!! is this normal...
  Thanks ladies xx

6 months - TBH anything is normal, regardless of whether your b/fing or not.

over a year later but i was BFing for 8 months, six of those exclusively.

I still haven't gotten one yet (am exclusively breastfeeding, so I hear that can affect it). Tbh I don't miss it :D

I've been wondering this too, I know for exclusively breast feeding mums it's not unusual to get one for months but I'm bottle feeding and 3 months after the birth, still no AF. Not complaining though, I don't miss them just as long as it all settles down in due course in case we want another baby :D

Hi
Quite a newbie to all the annograms what does af mean?
Thanks in advance! X

i got mine back quite quick around 6 weeks with my lot

I can't remember how long it took but I remember everyone saying 'Oooh it hurts so much'.

Since I started my periods they were so damn heavy and painful that I had to cry myself asleep in bed at least 1 day a month...After I had DD they came back still pretty heavy, same as before but actually pain free! :cheer:

AF means aunt flo...period

I'm also wondering - can you wear tampons when you get the first period after birth, or do you have to wear pads? Sorry if I sound stupid!
