What does that mean Davina? I'm curious now... are you talking rabbits?

Rach... We've got 3 children. The older two are 12 & 10.... Oscar was the wee cherry on the cake. I adore my kids and I really can't imagine having another to share with Oscar.

Once upon a time I would have loved 4 or even 5. I'm happy to stop here.... just makes me a wee bitty sad too. Two perfectly good ovaries are now having to retire! :shakehead:

I guess I won't be SAD if another bunny hopped along .... Oh gawd... DH will do his nut! :rotfl:

hi emilia

Mines having the big "V" next week too, and I feel the same as you do, don't really want lily to have to share her time with me, plus having 2 previous posterior labors wasn't fun and don't want to risk it again.

but at the same time I morn that it won't happen again esp when I look at peoples tickers and see things like 18 weeks pregnant makes me feel sad sometimes, but then remember how bad I had it with lily lol.

I sometimes feel its a waste of my fertiliy if you know what I mean. :D

He's only 28

but feels our family's complete with having 2 boys and lily, and as I seem to get pregnant quite easily I think he's scared of any slip ups lol.

im the same too. get preg very easily.

im only 21 been preg 5 times

im really happy now with my girl and boy and my heart aint in it now to have any more. iv always only wanted 2 babies young close together girl first then a boy, iv been so lucky so i htink il stop while im ahead.

Emilia, is he having this done under local anaesthetic or general? I have scrubbed for a few of those operations whilst working in a day theatre unit - its very interesting to watch! Most of the men had it done under local there.

Hi Alicebabe.... yip, just local anaesthetic! Poor bloke... He's having it done privately, so I hope they're gently with him!

xSuzx.... I do get a wee bitty sad when I look at the tickers too & realise that I had my last shot at it. Oscar is a real blessing - it took me 9 years to negotiate it with DH to have another child. So, I am immensely greatful to have Oscar. I have a lovely family and Oscar has really brought more love & affection to our home.

I might miss having a ticker ever again, but as I feel now, I will never ever be able to share Oscar with another bunny. My body also feels quite exhausted after my pregnancy & birth. I'm like an old fogy when I get out of bed in the morning.... :?

So as it stands .... I am more likely to conceive from a bit of pollen stuck in the wrong alley, than a spermie swimming his socks off!!

my sister wanted her tubes tied, forgot what its called lol, but the dr wont let her for some reason, so her husband is getting a V soon...

i could never bring myself to do that

Emilia Is he having the one where they don't need stitchs then, my hubby got referred by his RAF dr and is going to a Private clinic (Marie Stopes) and hes have a local anestetic and no stitchs.

It only takes about 10mins and is quite interesting to watch, I downloaded a video of a no stitchs versectomy, needless to say hubby wouldn't watch it

DH is going to quite a posh hospital, so not only will he be "stitch free", but aparently, he'll also get a good seeing to before hand from 3 nurses..... so he thinks anyway !!!!! :rotfl: (I think he's hoping that his pipes need cleaned out before the op) :rotfl: :rotfl:

Sorry... got to laugh! This is the closest he's ever going to come to experiencing "labour pains"!

Good luck to your DH too - shame... they'll be dying for a few days after. Only bit I'm rejoycing about is the fact that DH will be in too much discomfort for nookie........ phew.... I have a break at last! :cheer:

Emilia xx

you want to walk around in all seductive clothing once hes had the op emilia. give yourself a laugh.
