Thank goodness for mums

I just spoke to my mum in Australia. It's the first time I've spoken to her since finding out that I was pregnant. She was so supportive and sympathetic. She was able to tell me about things that went wrong in her three pregnancies and gave me some bits of useful advice. We shared some news and some laughs. I'm so glad she's there for me, even if she's on the other side of the world. And now I'm going to be a mum too! Wow... what a thought!
