Terrible cold - what can I take?

Hi everyone

I'm suffering with a rubbish head cold at the moment. Feel so so run down and very tired (although was feeling tired before!!). I haven't taken anything for it for fear of impact, but has anyone had advice from the doc on what, if anything, is safe to take?

Only thing you can take is paracetamal, vicks vapour rub on your chest, NOT an an inhalor, and home made honey and lemon

Yes it is fine
