was just wondering who used one, how they found it and if some are better than others. i hear tescos has them for under £30 but didnt want to get one that was no good. did anyone try this one?

I used one for the first 12 hours of labour, it was great, my pain was mostly in my back though, my midwife said they are great if thats the case but rubbish if your pains are all to the front. Until you are in labour you wont obviously know that but definately worth it just incase.

My baby was also back to back and I used a TENS machine and it was brilliant, id highly recommend it. I managed to get to 6cm with it and no other pain relief :D

However, when I got to 6cm it just became annoying and aggravated the pains so I ripped it off!

But definately worth a bash for early stages of labour.

I got mine from this website, and they were great

i used tens until i was fully dilated with no other pain relief so i'd highly recomend it. i had all my pains in my back also. if you dont want to buy one ask your m/w about hireing one. i know mothercare hire them also but dont know the price

We hired 1 from birth tens and it was fab - only used it for the first hour or so.......for me tens worked better than the epidural!!!
