I got a leaflet through the post offering me a 4d scan, package includes 30 minute scan, 4 photos, cd rom and dvd....

All for just £125

I am quite tempted, but then I think to myself that there are so many other things I could spend the money on. Everybody thinks its a waste of money apart from me and my mum. Also, if shes like she was at my 20 week scan we wont get to see her face because she wouldnt move her hands, she's shy :)

ohh that would tempt me too! Although we never had one with our 1st and it seems alittle unfair. I think they are great but have decided not to have one.x

I had one at 24 weeks, cost me £115 for 5 prints and we were in there for at least hlaf an hour, and she sexed her for us.

Sounds like a good deal and i'd say if you've got that money to spare they're definately worth it.

 Good point about the fairness thing, if I have one with this one I'd feel like I'd have to with any future babies.

I had a 3D scan and I cant recommend them enough- it's an amazing bonding experience esp. if you get the DVD.

GO FOR IT!

i am deffo going for a 4d scan, got it booked for end of this month!! cos of where we live (up in the highlands) all we get is a 12 week dating scan, which is not so good cos its still like a wee bean then, we hardly saw anything!!

theres loads of packages but the one we r getting is £190 for a 10 min dvd, 6 glossy pics and a cd-rom full of pictures. they sex the baby too (if you want) and check everything's ok. im so excited about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLUS the shopping afterwards cos we will find out the sex and fingers crossed its a girlie!!

i never had one with harrison as 6 years ago i never even know they did them. ( or did they?)
But we have ours booked for the 10th may, booked it this morning we are paying £135 and get a 20min dvd, cd rom with 30 pictures of baby on, and 6 coloured prints of our choice.
Yeah i admit we could spend the money on something else, but we see it has our chance for harrison to bond with his ikkle brother in their.

i loved my 3d/4d scan!!! im going to have a 3d scan done this time again. I did with oliver and i LOVED it!!! was such an amazing experience.
I pay £160 for a 45 min dvd (approx), and a cd full of pictures, 6 printed out as well.

did i say i loved it??? :rotfl:

We have this booked for the 10th May i cant wait!

its a once in a lifetime bonding experience for you and your baby! we just couldnt say no!

Package 2 - DVD SPECIAL - only £85

This is our 4D scan giving you a wonderful chance to meet your baby for the first time.

This gives you the chance to have a first look at your baby. We include a DVD of 5 to 10 minutes as well as 2 black and white pictures.

This is the ultimate bonding experience for the whole family. You can bring 3 of you friends or family with to enjoy

this experience with you. We have a separate screen in the room, so everyone will be able to see the baby before birth.

Remember extra photos, DVD and souvenirs can also be purchased.

I really want to get one, hoping that I can persuade DH to let me spend the money

We didn't have one with Jacob but they weren't done locally then - they are now!! I have thought about the fairness thing though.

Xxx

Do it!!!

They are so worth it, it's something you'll treasure for ever.

Oooh go for it Jodie! :cheer: BOOK! BOOK! BOOK! You know y :cheer: want to

I've booked mine and I can't friggin' wait! xx

I was thinking I could have the scan and then only buy second hand maternity clothes to make up for it

If everyone else was enthusiastic about it I'd defo do it, but theres only my mum who likes the idea

No-one but me and my mate were all enthusiastic about my 4d scan, but when they saw it they were, they just didnt realise exactly what it was etc.

I onky managed to convince baby daddy of it cos we'd find out the sex and he wanted to know. Agh well he paid part so guess i cant complain

Another thing worrying me though is that we wont get a clear view of baby, on both my scans they struggled to get a decent pic, I think I've got too much fat on my belly. Also, what if she's facing my back or something? It would be a complete waste.

Where i went thay did everything possible to get good pics, mine had her hands and feet up by her face and we spend around half an hour making sure we could get a pic of her face.

I also heard a lady with twins in before me, they couldnt get one of the twins in properly so they rebooked her for free so she could get the pics she deserved.

I think I might talk to my mum about it, see what she thinks (I'd take her with me, along with my OH if he can get the time off of work).
