Hey,
Evie has started waking up in the middle of the night for the past few days, i dont justt mean stirring, i mean proper fully awake like she is in the morning and it takes her a few hours to go back to sleep.
She hasnt woken up once in the night since 5 weeks old, we think she might be teething as she is almost 5 months.
I was just wondering if mums who had experienced this with their kids could tell me how long it took for their teeth to appear.
Thanks :D

Keeley first started teethin at about 8 weeks til 16 weeks when she got her first two teeth... :)

Have you tried any teething stuff? give her some before she goes to bed then she mite not wake up :)

yeah nic tried her with baby bonjela and calpol, no such luck :( .

brians boss said i should try baby ibuprofen.

We are having the same problem with Brody at the minute! He started teething at about 8 weeks but over the past 4 weeks it's getting steadily worse and he's been up most of the night every night with it! Waking up with pain and needing comforting every couple of hours.

We have tried all sorts calpol doesn't do a thing neither do the powders but they have worked for others so it may be worth a try!

The only thing that helps Brody in the night is Medised. I don't like giving him medicine too often so I only give him it if he is really upset with the pain. The first time I gave him it, it really calmed him down but didn't really make much difference to his sleep but he had a really bad day yesterday and was in agony so I gave him some last night and he slept from 8 until half 7 this morning only waking for a feed at 4am!

Hope you get some sleep soon hun!
