I know Sherlock posted about this very recently, but she is havinga break at the moment so hasn't responded to my PM (I miss her knowledge).

Anyway logan has started grinding his teeth, he currently has 4 teeth but i think there might be a few more in the next few weeks.

He has been doing it for about a week, and the sound is making my toes curle.

Did anyoine elses do it and how long for, or more importantly how did you make it stop?

We are still boobie feeding, with no dummy (he would never take one), three pureed meals a day adn finger foods in between.

HELP!!!

Oliver grinds his teeth sometimes, he seems to go through phases of a couple of days of doing it then he'll stop for a week or two. I'm fairly sure it's just a normal part of teething for a lot of babies, I remember my cousins doing it when they were babies too, it does send shivers down my spine though! It might just be from the pain or just the new sensation of having teeth in his mouth, they usually just grow out of it by themselves. You can always ask your dentist when you take him for his first appointment, but you have my sympathy because it makes my toes curl too!

ds has been through 2 phases of this, once between 8 & 9 months and once at about 18 months. I tried EVERYTHING to get him to stop because I hate the sound. In the end I just ignored it and he eventually stopped.

thanks Ladies,

i rung the dentist earlier to get advice and they said it was just a phase that he may or may not gorow out of. He is going with me at the start of march anyway so they can look at him then.

Angel also does this. She had a few days of it being constant, now she seems to have calmed right down. But it's horrible.
