tampons????

This may be a stupid question but

My first period since giving birth has started today and I've been using pads which I hate to use. My 6 week check isnt til monday and so Im just wondering if Im ok to use tampons now?

Like i say may be silly question but i was going to use them but my mum said she wouldnt use them yet which got me thinking?

Personally if I felt ok 'down there' then I would use them .. Your check isn't far away so you've had a good amount of healing time? Weird question but, does everything feel back to normal as such?

My HV told me after my DD, that so long as your postnatal bleeding has stopped and it is your regular period tampons are fine. So long as you're not still in pain obviously lol xx

Well its defo a regular period as i only bled for about 10 days and its been 6 weeks now. Tried tampon yesterday and at first it was fine then it did feel a bit wierd so i decided to wait a bit. Dont know if thats normal???
