Good morning all
Well, yesterday I went to visit my nan in Colchester. I had a lovely day but was crunched up in the car there and back, and also spent 3 hours sitting on a rather uncomfortable sofa! I was dying to put my feet up on the sofa but I didn't want to incase my nan didn't like me to! So I had to grin and bear it.
Anyway, on the way home I started to develop back ache. I've not had back ache like it before
It was all across my shoulder blades, all down my arms - even the palms of my hands hurt. In particular my shoulder sockets seemed to ache! I was so worried but tried to just ignore it. I tried to go to bed but I only slept for an hour or so and tossed and turned because I couldn't get comfortable. I even woke OH up groaning in pain - I didn't even realise I was groaning! In the end, at 5am this morning I went on the hunt for paracetamol
I just couldn't take the pain any longer and I just needed to go to sleep.
I feel so guilty for taking painkillers
I know paracetamol is said to be safe for pregnant women, but I've only taken it once throughout this entire pregnancy and I feel guilty for my LO that I had to take it again. Can anyone reassure me I did the right thing??
Thanks
