Take-Along Swing

I have the Rainforest Take-Along swing and I like it, but the speeds are so irregular! I only use it on the first setting so far, but sometimes that is very, very slow and sometimes it is so fast that Jacob flails around (but seems to enjoy it). Do any of you that have it have the same problem, or should I try to return it?

I have an old take along swing that changes the spped of swing depending on how big a push I give it to get it going! If I left it to swing on its own without setting it off first, it would hardly move even on the fastest setting!

Mines exaclty the same!!

I think the weight of LO affects it too, as when he was little even on 1, it was very fast, looked like it was going to throw him out. NOw its on level 5 and hardly moves sometimes. Tho other times it goes along just fine on level 2 I thougth it was batterys or something, but we changed them..!!
