Hi ladies.

I am almost 30 weeks, I have been getting puffy legs and feet for a couple of weeks but the legs are getting worse. My knees are so swollen that it hurts to bend them, it's like that everyday. Today my legs are just so achey that I can barely move.
Is there anything that anyone has found helpful in relieving it? I am keeping them elevated but not convinced it does anything xx

Hi lisey, that sounds rough! Are you making sure you're drinking plenty of water? Legs elevated & resting is supposed to help - also maybe try some cold compresses on your knees. And reduce salt intake (not that I'm saying you have a lot but just because it's supposed to help!). You could always try some foot exercises (rotations, flexing etc). Just remember to be mindful of pre eclampsia symptoms. Hope you get some relief x

Thanks, I didn't think of the cold compress. will try that :)
I drink so much water so think that's ok and do keep elevated. Will try and remember to do the foot exercises.
I was a little concerned about pre-eclampsia, urine is clear and blood pressure ok so for now alright but will of course keep an eye out for anything worrying xx
