Does anyone have recommendations for swivel carseats? I am not keen on the silvercross carseat that came with my pushchair as her head just flops forward when she sleeps. I would like one that reclines and swivels so its easier to get in there.
Also, for those that have them, they look quite bulky, do you manage ok in a more compact car?

Thanks :) xx

What’s your budget lisey? We have a recaro isize and it’s great but a bit pricey. Have a silver cross from the travel system too and agree about head (using again though!) but have yet to find one that keeps head back.

Most of their websites should tell you whether they’ll fit in your car. We have a Kia c’eed and recaro fits fine but might struggle in a real compact 3 door car x

I have a mini countryman so not a really small car. Should be ok then. Max price would want to spend is about £350.
Do you find their head is ok in the swivel one as it reclines? X

I couldn’t say because we only got it once my lb was toddling rather than new(ish!)born, he’s forward facing now. I think they have them in stock at Mothercare so you could maybe go in and test her in it? They have a few other swivel ones too x

Yeah will go and have a look and a try to see if I like them xx

We have the Cybex Sirona. It swivels and has two reclining positions. Comes out highly on the Which study too.

Does baby's head stay back when sleeping in the recline position? Xx

We have the britax dualfix. Love it. He travels well in it too and nearly always sleeps. Not had a problem with head flop. I have a megane, it just fits in but if I was taller it would have to go behind the passenger seat instead as it fits perfectly behind my seat but my husband struggles with leg room to drive. It is really easy to put him in and out with the swivel.

Thanks for the help ladies. I have the carseat behind the passenger seat so that I can see her in the mirrors but may have to move her behind me when my son is at the front. He is almost 6 foot! Xx
