Quite excited but nervous too - will it hurt??!

I did think I may not need to have one cos I have been having pains about every 15 mins but they appear to have dwindled...

I just hope she can do it ok... PLEASE WORK!!! I wanna meet my baby boy....

I might have one too! Depends on how nice the midwife is!
I was due to have a sweep on Tuesday but my midwife is off sick. The maternity office at the hospital managed to get me an appointment at a different surgery with a different midwife for tomorrow. But the woman on the phone at the maternity office said they wouldn't do a sweep until I was 41 weeks and over, but with a little persuasion...

I have my sweep tomorrow too I wonder how many of us that have sweeps today or tomorrow it actually works for

my 1st sweep with my 2nd Daughter worked 9 hours later for me. But im scared to pin any hope to the sweep tomorrow for this little man as boys are supposed to be stubborn!!!

I have had 2 now and nothing has happened yet except back ache and a few pains but I was having this anyway so not holding out much hope

i had one on monday and my cervix was open to 2cm dialted and "ready", i had a massive bloody show afterwards but my contractions have stopped since LOL.
it didnt hurt me at all, and a man did mine. good luck xx
