After going back and forth to hospital and drs with various problems

Runny green itchy looking eyes
Sneezing wheezing and coughing
Diarrhoea
Always has a cold/cough/ and congested ( hospitalised at one point as he couldn't breathe and went blue )
Constipation - he would turn purple and his bum would bulge with how big poo was
Bright yellow poo which then turned forest green on lactose free milk
Slime in his poo occasionally and the smell is horrific
Terrible wind, you could hear him fart from across a room and you would here his poo squelching out his bum
Hernia ( emergency surgery)
Failure to thrive ( only 3lb gain in 3 months since birth )
At 13 weeks he still fits in some of his newborn stuff and majority of his 0-3 month stuff is still too big on him - he was 8 lb 3.5oz born so not small to start with
He was between 50-75 percentile at birth , he's now below the 2nd percentile . He is also on the lowest growth marker for head size too
Crying and upset baby most of the time after feeds
Episodes of projectile vomiting
Reflux
What appeared like horrific stomach cramps where babe would scream and tense his tummy .
Fussiness and refusal to eat ( I would struggle to her 2-3ozs down him at 10weeks )
Then suspected lactose intolerance
Seen by 15 different healt professionals for different issues listed above
Well the hospital now tell me at 13 weeks he has a cows milk protein allergy.
The last 3 months have been so stressful I've hardly had time to enjoy my baby. He has been prescribed an amino acid based baby formula

I kept going back to health visitor and various drs telling them baby is not right he's always ill

I feel robbed of my time with baby because it's taken so long, he's only been started on special formula 3 days ago and I've only seen mild improvements- but dr advised it can take around 2 weeks for symptoms to completely go.

I'm praying he gets to be 100 percent soon

It sounds like you're going through a horrific time. Have you had him checked by an IBCLC lactation consultant for tongue tie. My lo had similar issues with crying and upset during and after feeds, vomiting, reflux symptoms, only ably to take similar amounts to your lo 2-3 oz at a time at a similar age and then he'd start crying so it'd take 2 hours per feed. He was also hospitalised for struggling to breathe. At 13 weeks I was at the end of my tether and paid privately to see an IBCLC which changed our lives. Tongue tie hadn't even been considered by all the other drs and midwives we'd seen which amazed me when it was diagnosed and I learnt just how much it can affect a baby and cause all the symptoms my lo had.

This is the company we used: https://milkmatters.org.uk There's info on the website about some of the cases they've helped with xxx

Regards to a milk allergy my little brother was born with a milk allergy 16 years ago, it took my mum 22 weeks of fighting with the health service to refer him for allergy testing... he was eventually put onto a baby formula called pepti junior - he would have green poo, cry all the time because of tummy ache. My brother and I both suffer with an unspecified immune deficiency also which meant he suffered with impetigo, extreme cases of herpes simplex (Coldsore virus) and at 18 months old he was admitted to hospital with phnumonia, you are a mummy trust your intuition and do not worry! Keep pressing them for allergy testing if you think a milk allergy is the case.

Hi ladies I forgot to mention he had a 100 percent tongue tie at birth which was snipped at 6 days of age so no longer a problem. He's been on ALFAMINO prescription milk now for just over 2 weeks. He is now eating 4-5oz at a time 6 feeds a day and gaining 4oz a week. He's been reviewed at the hospital and as his symptoms have improved they are certain it's a milk allergy . Now been referred to a dietician for advice and support for weaning and milk allergy. He's so much better and is always smiling now
