Stupid things you have done??

has anyone else turned into a complete dizzy mare recently or is it just me?

1. wrote in my husband's card - "thanks for a great 07, looking forward to 08" - didn't even notice till I gave it to him.....

2. went to the post office to post a parcel - forgot to take the parcel!

3. Almost tried to get into a punto outside a shop - I sold my punto in January. luckily I stopped my self before I tried to put my VW key in the lock!

very worried - I'm not safe to be alone......

i have to leave post stick notes everywhere for myself latley otherwise i foget everything.
soon i will have to put them on the kids so i remember there names

im so glad im not the only one then iv been terrible this week. Iv forgotten everyones names and especially forgetting to lock things like my car and front door.

I went shopping came back after an hour and zapped my car and it locked so id left it open all that time. I couldnt believe it

i really suffered from "pregnancy dementia" too its the worst i hated it i put the phone in the freezer oven everywhere. i hated working it was that bad i forgot which relatives id spoken too if id done something it was terrible. i also made my first and only drug error which i was mortified about as i pride myself on being the dogs boll*cks at work. i think next time i should be signed off sick pregancy makes me mental!!!!

I have made food then thrown the food in the bin instead of the wrappers!!!

I have also put my mobile phone in the wash on a full cycle and put the kettle in the fridge instead of the milk!!!!!

I left my car door unlocked when I went to pay for petrol.

I forgot to give my DH any money this morning for his lunch at work, so then I had to buy him lunch and take it to him at lunch time.

I locked my mother in her kitchen this afternoon for over an hour

When we went through to my MIL's house, DH was gonna get a shower there (we have no hot water - we have to shower in other peoples' houses) and I nicely prepared him a bag of clean clothes to put on after his shower, and I completely forgot to take it with me.

I washed my hair in shower gel the other day. I also stuck a whole half term's work in the wrong child's progress folder! Gah!!! That was really annoying.

....and on Christmas Eve, went to get face powder from my handbag. I found two moulding satsumas stuck to the bottom of it
I had taken them to work for a snack and forgot all about them!

On the upside....I can buy a new handbag...January sales here I come!!!!!!

Great excuse for a bit of bag shopping though definitely!

Had a few attacks of amnesia yesterday - e.g. playing a game of "who is in the bag?" and my husband was trying to get me to guess who the current president of the US is and I could not remember his name.....

On new years eve I drove to our friend's house (about 20 mins away) and realised I had left my hand bag at home so had to go all the home again to get it!

i've had loads of things like this happen to me recently and its getting worse!

i was wanting to heat hubbys dinner in the microwave n put it in the fridge instead

and after makin toast was ment to put the empty bread wrapper in the bin n put the butter in the bin instead

and also put my mobile in the bin
i'm losin my marbles!!

Cannot believe what I did yesterday lunchtime!

went out for lunch with some people from work and the pub we go to had got a new menu..... I only went and ordered...

a bacon and BRIE panini! did not even occur to me what I was doing. it is my all time favourite sandwich!

Got home last night and told my husband. He was mortified... said I cannot believe you did that, what were you thinking? I still did not get what the problem was, then it dawned on me!

the chances of a village pub serving unpasteurised cheese is so slim due to the health risks and I am not ill! but even so! How could I forget, when I have been so careful over Christmas what an idiot!

I had to cancel my bank card earlier this week to get a new one issued...due to it being cloned

Today I actually tried to use it - twice - before realising it was cancelled. Red faces all round.
