stuffable nappies

how do they work? Sounds daft, obviously you stuff them, but with what?! I have a small stuffable i was given to try, that i'm keeping for the next baby, but i've seen some nice ones to buy for Green Bean but i don't know what to do with them!
Someone enlighten me...

You can buy specially shaped bits to stuff them with but a terry or prefold will do.

With most of the stuffables you get the inserts with them With the ones that dont i use microfibre and hemp inserts, you can buy them in most of the nappy stores.
