Anyone know how many hours per week you're allowed to study without it affecting maternity pay.

Might be starting another evening class in April that will be 2 hours per week, maternity leave starts in June so it will overlap.

Thinking about doing an open university course which says allow 10 hours per week.

Help, I can't find anything on the internet about it.

It shouldn't affect it at all. it's not linked in that way to studying - i'm doing an OU course at the moment and it doesn't affect my maternity pay.
I can't find anything to back that up but i reckon if you give the OU a call they will be bale to confirm what i've said!
After all you can study and work at the same time so there is no reason it should affect your money at all :)

My OU course is approx 16 hours a week - or that's what we are supposed to do.

Hope that helps in some way!

It has no effect on your maternity pay at all Hazel.

I'm studying for a Masters with the OU at the moment and it doesn't affect my pay... I hope  :rotfl:
