leahs favourite is mash & gravy, or carrots & swede.
a lot of other things she will pull her face and spit it out, but im getting stuck for ideas on what to make her.
She loves her baby cereal but i really dont know what else to try

ooo yes please pilks

ive bought a few little pots so i can freeze them

is it right that once ive cooked things, i cant reheat them after freezing? am i right? lol can u tell i dont cook?? hehe

when i've cooked my own food for the boys i puree it, put it in the pots and wait for it to cool before i freeze it.

when i want to use it i take it out, either leave it in the fridge to defrost (took ages though), or i put it in the microwave and heated it up really really hot and then waited for it to cool down before i fed it them.

you need to heat it after it's been frozen.

you should check out anabel karmel's books. she has done loads and they are brilliant!

full of recipes, and it tells you when you can introduce different foods and what to do if baby doesnt like the taste of something how you can incorperate it into another meal to mask the taste but still get the goodness from the food!!!

i have lots of her books for the first stage of weaning. im sure if you look in your library you would be able to get a copy to look through, or maybe she has a website?

For breakfast i usually give ky cow and gate porridge and mash half a banana and mix that in it. I do give him the hipp-a-bisks too, i no it says 6months on the guidelines but its been fine so far just a couple times a week.

for meals i just mix any random veggies together and either add a bit of mash or sweet potato. he loves cheese sauce to, thats always a good one to make. Get the Annabel Karmel meal planner its got loads of good ideas.

Ya no i was wondering that midna....are they allowed everything from 6 months?

I bought Annabel Karmel's book yesterday, it cost a bit but it's good :D

It's gluten they can't have until 6 months :)
And apparently meats you need to avoid too as they can be difficult to digest for the adult digestive system let alone the baby's....

here is Ms Karmel's guide to when you can introduce things
clicky

where did you find the gravy? I remember looking everywhere for it with Seren and never did track it down. Just so I know eher to look when Cally is being weaned :)

thanks for your replies

the gravy is in asda/tesco, boots, etc

its with the baby food and in asda its right on the top shelf

they have beef gravy, chicken gravy, cheese sauce and pasta sauce

ive brought cow and gate baby gravy from boots. If you look around the super stores some usually sell it. ive also brought Milupa baby gravy from a massive sainsburys near me.
