Has anyone got any energy boosting tips?

I'm absolutely knackered 24/7, I feel bad that I have hardly any energy to play with Brody, the school run alone wears me out.

What do you guys do? Has anyone started to bloom yet?

if anyone has an answer, let me know too!

i read that progesterone has similar effect on brain to sleeping tablets so thats what we're up against

im mad busy at work now with 12 hour solid day, running on nervous energy (and not much food) and when i stop for a split second im so tired i could cry

im a bit worried about that actually being so tired but having to keep going, if too much stress is going to harm the baby :?

an apple and a weak coffee... a little one wont harm.. i gotta say this is awesom..10 mins after a coffee i feel bk to normal..

I know what you mean hun. I would never thought I would be so tired during pregnancy.

I guess my tip is to have an hour snooze (I'm doing this at work at lunchtime even) even if I don't go properly to sleep it seems to help a bit.

As for blooming, well my nails are growing fast, but same as Sharne still being sick, although less frequent, so I don't feel blooming...yet!

with Hannah i was absolutly shattered in tri 1. was in bed every night by 8pm. All i could think about was sleep. lol.

with this pregnancy - no tiredness really (only whats been usual with a baby teething)

by tri 2 i was back to normal and didnt even feel pregnant.

No energy tips to give, just know it gets better. :)

Does Brody still have his morning nap?

Fuck the housework, lie down with him :)

f**k the housework, lie down with him :)

I've been known to do this

I didn't get a chance to do it today cos I have pendants that are waiting, and he house was a tip. :? I wish I could do it everyday :)

OH isn't ever impregnating me again unless he forks out for a weekly cleaner.

Is that an option? :)

Hun when your tired listen to your body, over the weekend I was so lazy but my body was blatantly telling me to rest up! That housework can wait!

Yes forget the housework! My house is a total tip and we're in the middle of moving house and have the surveyor coming on Thursday morning but I'll do it tomorrow evening when Mel's in bed because NOTHING comes between me and my midday nap right now! Thankfully Mel tends to sleep for about 1 1/2- 2 hours so I make sure I get everything I really need to do done before 1pm and then hop into bed as soon as he does. Even if I only lie there for most of it and only get 30 mins actual kip it makes all the difference. Otherwise by bath and bedtime I'm almost in tears and crawling up the stairs! NAP! It's great and if you can then DO!

Great idea Minxy!

Urchin - hope you feel better soon - I agree with everyone else, sod the housework - get more help from OH and just rest - but I know it's easier said than done.

Is this similar to how you have felt in your previous pregnancies?

Valentine xxx

Yeah it's similar but with Brody to run round after I don't get the chance to rest like I used to :(

I know what you mean Urchin, first pg I could put my feet up when I wanted, sleep as much as I wanted etc, but this time cos I've already got Jamie I never seem to get much rest time.
