It was a roasting hot glorious day today, but out of the blue it has started to absolutely p*ss it down (I got soaked through going from my car to the front door!) and it's thindering and lightening big time!

YAY I love storms!!!!!!!

We had one here too...it was such a shame, Mason was staring out of the window, looking for lightening (cos he's never seen any)
Everytime he looked away CRASH there was the lightening, he missed it all
He wasn't scared at all and even said he wished he could go outside!

We had a good storm here aswell today, started about 1 with a loud rumble of thunder then started absoloutely peeing it down then it carried on with the thunder and lightning untill about 4

Just been for a dance out in the rain haha. The storm is easing off now damnit.

I remember last year just after summer there was the biggest ever storm where I live, we were at my mums and had to get home which is a 10minute drive but the rain was so bad we were all diriving at 10mph up the dual-carriageway behind a rescue truck who was guiding people. The lightening was hitting ground every 10-20 seconds or so and I was actually pooing myself. I love storms normally but this was something else. The lightening was only 15metres away from our car at some points!

bring back that storm!

we dont get storms here, hardly ever! the od rumble of thunder and thats it, so this one was a biggy for barry/cardiff.

the only bad storm we ever had was when we got the tornado/water spout thing on the beach, that was fun, it hailed down like mad, really big stone, then it suddenly stopped and a tornado apeared! lol

On the telly this morning they said Wales were going to have 'spectacular' downpours!
