Hi, im a little worried, just come on today i have pains at the front of my stomach and have been getting stronger throughout the day, its not like belly ache or anything its like really sharp shooting pains right at the front of my belly around my belly button area, it kind of feels like stabbing pains and now it has got to the point that i cant turn myself to the side and bend down at all, and when we were in the car earlier driving whenever we went around a corner it really hurt and if i laugh and cough it hurts.

It isnt like my normal stretching/pulling pains so im a tad worried now.

Anyone got any idea what this is?

cheers
cassi xx

Xx

cassi i have exactly the same symptoms as you describe.
My midwife sad its just stretching pains. Sometimes when im laid in bed i can't turno over for the pain ad sometimes i can be driving and i get pains.

i just breath through it and wait for the pains to passwhich they do.

yeah i get that now and again, i think it is because my belly button is going out now:)

these are not on and off pains it is constant...im happy some of you have had the same symptons though as i was getting quite worried...its kind of like what you get when you do really heavy ab excersises and the next day you can feel it...

cheers

it might just be growing pains i usually get them every couple of weeks and they last bout 3 days, ask your midwife though if you are still concerned

glaad its better for you, you start getting growing pains more often round this stage of your pregnancy due to the rapid growth of the baby:) xx
