Stitches

Hello,

I had my LO 16 days ago.. i had a lot of stitches which were all dissolvable but I am still uncomfortable, I was told they should take 10 days to heal.

Every time i go to the toilet i am finding at least 3 stitches on the toilet roll when I wipe -

Any ideas how long it will take for them all to come away and the pain to have eased completely?

Have asked you mw to have a look at them? I was in agony with mine and when my mw looked she cut 2 as they were too tight as not doing their job, just making it worse. She might swab you aswell just to check for any infection. I had a small infection about 2 weeks after. It can take a while for the pain to go completely, everyone heals differently tho. I was still on pain killers at 4 weeks but I did have problems with the birth. If your concerned deffo get the mw to check x
