Still not heard anything about 12 week scan!!!!

Hi peeps, Im still waiting to hear about my 12 week scan! Looks like I'll be over 12 weeks when I get my letter . I just hope my OH can make it coz with his job he's booked up for 2 weeks in advance and his customers get arsy when he starts swapping them about! Also still waiting to hear from my midwife, I phoned her on wed about a 12 week booking app and she said she would ring me in the next day or so, and .... I'm still waiting to hear it was never this complicated with my first xxx sorry for the rant girls, just think they are been a bit slack!!!

I had my booking in app at 10 weeks and that was late! Definitely ring your midwife again and remind her how far gone you are!

i would get on the phone a.s.a.p to get it sorted out. ive got my scan next wk and will be 13wk 1day and i seen my midwife at 8wks and this was the earliest they could give me but i do have a friend that seen the midwife late at 12 wks and they got her an app before me coz she was a little further along so hopefully if you chase it up this wk they mite rush your scan through.

I was lucky, saw my mw at 7+1 at my home for booking in and got my scan date through a week or so after that. The date they gave me was for 24th march but I had a missed miscarriage last time and started to panic it would happen again so I phoned mw and she put me in touch with hospital. They then rearranged scan for when I'm 10+5 and everyone was so helpful! I'd phone mw again and definatly chase them up. I agree that everything seems more complicated than last time (am I right in thinking we both have 5 year olds?) I know that mw's now don't generally see people until 8 weeks and in my pregnancy notes it says the booking in can be done between 8-14 weeks! Hope they pull their finger out and get it sorted for you!

Hi guys, thanks for your replies, I saw my midwife at 8w and she was the one supposed to refer me, she left and I got a new midwife who was suppposef to see me at 12 weeks but I've had to ring her about the app!! I'm just going to ring her tomorrow, should I get a letter through the post about scan?? Oh and Helen yes my little boy Dylan was 5 in sept xxx

I got a letter through but I'd speak to mw about it anyway. Everything seems to have changed since then! My DD Summer will be 6 in May and it feels like I'm doing this for the first time because everythings different and i seem to of forgotten everything I thought I knew!

i got my letter in the post but she did say if i hadnt got it within 2 weeks i could ring the hospital she give me a number at the hospital to call i got the letter tho a wk after midwife came. I bet your old midwife hasnt put the scan form in at the hospital i would try and talk to the hospital if you can get the number for the scan department

Hi guys, got my letter this morning for 22nd march which would make me 13 weeks 3 days want too happy about this considering I've had a scare, Its taken nearly 4 weeks to get my letter and plus im away that day too aggh!! So I phoned them up and told them this and that I would be 12 weeks this Friday and she said "oh really" and then gave me 15th march which is on mon!!! Yey. All I need now is the midwife to get in touch with me like she said she would! Apparently I should have a little White book with all my notes in it????? X

I have a big blue folder with my notes in it. Thank goodness they got you a decent time for scan!

ohhh good idea of yours to ring them and try and change thedate wish i had done that i will be over 13wk also but only got to wait till thursday now lucky u tho bet you cant wait. I also have a blue folder with my notes in not white xxxxxxxxxxxx

i have a white pack thing with my notes in it came with my pregnancy book and loads of other leaflets glad your scan all sorted x

hey kel it was the same for me hun

i never got my scan date until a few weeks ago and i will be about 15 weeks when going for my 12 week scan which i find quite strange considering i have had 2 mc before. Although i have been for an emergency scan on monday there and everything was fine i am 13weeks and 3 days by the most worrying part now. They told me when i go for my scan in few weeks they might not scan me because i just had a scan on monday there just need to wait and see i suppose xx

How bloody useless ecspecialy when you've had a m/c before, I'd demand a 20 week one Hun!! Mines on monday thank god and I'm really excited but a little bit nervous too x
