Lack of communication!! Grrr

Bit of a rant!
Basically on my first midwife appointment she told me my first scan will be 11 weeks, rather than the usual 12.
That'll mean the scan would be next week and I STILL hadn't received a letter! So I phoned hospital and they said oh no, you won't be getting a first scan until 12/13 weeks! What the hell? Why am being told different things then? Grrrr!
Lack of communication between midwife and hospital I guess Annoying though because I was all excited and ready for a scan next week.
Just one other thing, my bloods were taken at my first midwife app. (8 weeks) I haven't heard anything about it, so I'm guessing everything is normal? Does anyone know if that's the case?

generally speaking no news is good news. They will be in touch of there is a problem otherwise you will get your results when you see the midwife at 16 weeks.
Very annoying about the scan, 1st one is usually at 12 / 13 weeks. Not too long to wait though!!

I had my bloods taken at 10 weeks and she told me when I went to see her at 12 that my results were fine you could ring and ask if you are worried however i am sure she would contact you if necessary. I had my first scan at (what i thought was) 11 weeks but turned out to be 10!!! But yes, lack of communication sounds rubbish for you x

Just habe to get through these few weeks until 12 weeks so I can finally see my baby, hopefully all healthy x
