I really can't believe it - I'm 7 weeks now and still not even queasiness. Starting to wonder if I am pregnant after all, seems so odd not to be even queasy. Doctor said not to worry everyone is different blah blah but still....

I understand how you feel. Take it easy - just trust your doc on this one.

Think yourslev lucky hun, morning sickness aint nice, i had loads of it with my first child and none with my second!

Its not that I want to be sick its just I'm fed up of reading things like 'you're less likely to miscarry if you have morning sickness' and 'means a more viable pregnancy' etc. It's as if the world wants to give you more things to worry about :(

aww ,sorry if my post earlier was insensative, it certainly wasn't mean to be. My sister didn't have any sickness in her very healthy pregnancy. Your doctor is right, but I really appreciate where you're coming from

It's OK  it's just worrying me that is all. I won't see a midwife for at least another 3 weeks and I can't really find anything positive on the internet - think I will stop looking now. I did find something that said morning sickness is less common in older mums but then it went on to say older mums are more likely to miscarry anyway so that could be the correlation with no morning sickness/increased chances of miscarriage so that didn't make me feel any better at all.

Why am I sitting here - I took the afternoon off to do the ironing and packing for our holiday. I'm such a lazy moo.

 I haven't got any sickness either :D . Started feeling a little queazy in the evenings from about 7ish weeks but it's more like I can't stand the thought or smell food rather than feeling sick. I've read somewhere that only 80% of women get morning sickness, so we must be in the lucky 20% :cheer: I'm sure everything is fine

Claire, give it time. I didn't feel too sick in the early days but it's really kicking in now. Once your hormones start surging, you may feel sick. Remember though, not everyone does so you might be one of the lucky ones :D

You're just really lucky! No morning sickness doesn't mean anythings wrong

I didn't have any at all with my first pg and it was a very healthy pg. So don't worry, you are just one of the lucky ones

In my first pregnancy i didn't get sickness untill around 16 weeks. This time nothing yet either, def doesnt mean anything is wrong, just take advantage of feeling good!

Thanks guys you've made me feel a lot better

We're doing a 2 week road trip to northern Italy and back starting this weekend - I bet it kicks in then

I'm 10 weeks and haven't felt sick at all. I got so bloody paranoid I asked for my hormone levels to be checked in week 8 - they were normal and increasing so while they might make some people sick all they did to me was give me constipation and the appetite of Godzilla!

I was worried about the same kind of remarks but I'm getting less so. My boobies are sore - I AM constipated and half the time I'm flaming inflated with wind! (Of course when I was worrying none of that counted).

I never had any either!...but I was also kind of "waiting for t" to hit

I'm either 8 or 11 weeks pg and I have only had very mind nausea only when hungry and not even had that for the past 2 weeks! Try not to woprry although I'm also doubting that I'm pg and wanting something concrete to latch on to! (as if a positive test, sore boobs, total absence of periods and a definate swelling of my belly wasn't enough!!!!). I don't think I'll truly believe I'm pg until my scan in 2 weeks time!

When I went for my 12 week scan, I couldn't believe that I was pregnant either as I hadn't had any morning sickness at all and felt really well.

I've been reading about MS in a charity shop book I got 'What to expect when you're expecting'. I think someone here recomended the book and it is ace!!

It said something like 40% of healthy pregnancies don't have any MS and that it could be in part due to how sensitive a person is to feeling sick generally, like whether they get prone to travel sickness etc.

I wonder myself if it's also associated to sensitivity to hormonal changes? I never had a rough time with periods although I was asa regular as clockwork with a heavier than average flow - obviously the hormones were there in abundance but they didn't make me feel unwell.

I'm alot more relaxed about it as the weeks go by, I'm quite comfortable now being one of those with no morning sickness. That doesn't mean I'm not going to have to walk the same gauntlet of the first 3 months - just that I'm happy that I don't need to be sick for all to be well.

hiya CB23,I can really sympathise with you and I have been so anxious for the last 4 days that I haven't even beren out of the house. I have been trawling the net all day long to see if it was possible to be preggers without symptoms and came across your thread. I have just found out that I am roughly 6 weeks pregnant with my third child but it seems so hard to believe because I just don't feel pregnant. My other two pregnancies were identical even though I have a girl and a boy,I knew that I was pregnant before a test and somehow knew what sex the child was without being told.I had morning sickness from the moment I found out, heartburn, backache etc but this time absolutely zilch! I have even bought more home pregnancy tests and have done one every day for the last four days, just to make sure!
I did come across one site today that said that one of the symptoms can be itchy palms or soles of the feet and I have had itchy feet for the last two nights so maybe that is a sign I am pregnant! I just can't help thinking the worst!

Out of me and my two friends who were pregnant at similar times, I had horrendous sickness and they both had nothing, not even a quesy feeling. All of us have healthy babies, so the morning sickness = healthy pregnancy is just a myth. Please don't worry about a lack of sickness, just enjoy it Hug
