Lola's been breastfeeding for 15 months today!

I'm so proud of both of us, At the start i never thought i manage a week never mind 15 months

She still feeds in a morning and just before bedtime.

I think it's only a comfort thing now though as she only seems bothered when she's tired or unwell. I'm just going to leave her to it but i don't think she'll go far beyond 18 months

Well done thats amazing. Can i ask about periods, sorry personal question i know and you dont have to answer just tell me to bugger off. I've been feeding for 6 months and still no af. I would like to feed for as long as possible but we would also like to try for no. 2 within the next 4 months maybe even a bit later. When did your af return, im thinking i night have to stop feeding to help it return.

Sorry for thread hi-jack and answering your question to LM, but I just wanted to say that I exclusively breastfed and my periods came back at 7 months - exactly a month practially to the day since I'd started BLW! Amazing!

So, since you've recently started weaning and Maia will drop feeds naturally over the coming weeks, you may find something similar happening to you.
