This doesn't answer your question but I think maybe consider whether you mind whether a longer name is shortened. Also how the name will sound with his/her surname and also spelling of initials if you choose a middle name too. I know the above are not names as such but may help to whittle some down at least! I really struggled with boy's names! When I found out I was having a boy I thought it would take me ages!

The names OH and I liked were Alistair, Eli, Jasper, Nathaniel, Sebastian, Caleb, and a couple of others that I can't remember!!! In the end we'e chosen Caleb for LO's first name.

As Shooby has said, it's important to think about nicknames/whether you want a name that can be shortened. That was one of my main criteria, I didn't want anything that had a short version that I didn't like!

We're set on Caleb now, but we're trying to decide whether we want Sebastian as the middle name, or OH's grandfather's name. Both middle name options are quite long, because OH has a one syllable last name. That's also important, that they complement each other well.

Why dont you try some of the name generators. You can plug in your surname and it will give you a full name. Might throw up some you hadnt thought of - I found it a bit easier than starting from scratch.
