Still Bleeding... WILL IT EVER STOP?!

Hi hun, so sorry to hear your still bleeding. See if you can get an appoinment to see GP, You are still suffering the effects of your M/C and they should give you advice, I found that I had no problems trying to get appointments when I made sure to tell the receptionists at my Surgery that I was M/c ing etc.

My sister bled for nearly 4 months when she M/C'd and yet I was over and done with in 7 days, there really is no hard and fast rules.

I have been bleeding for 6 and a half weeks.......

See my other posts but I am quite unusual as I stared to M/C naturally, had medical management (Misopristol) and ERPOC.

Have you done a PG test to see that you are no longer producing HCG as I am and that is why they think I am still bleeding and my womb is not empty when they scan me.

I have heard of people bleeding for up to 3 weeks and it isn't considered unusual.

I think you need to go to the GP or MW foe a check up doll, the sypmtoms you describe sound like you are losing a little too much blood. Go get checked out ASAP before you need fluids and iron. You may also have some pregnancy tissue retention, and that really does need medical help,

Ive noticed a not nice smell earlier too, think i may have an infection so will defo go see doc tomorrow.

Hiya honey,

Fothers has given really good advice, go and see docs just to be on the safe side.

I hope you are ok, I am sorry it is taking so long for your body to sort itself, I know it can be frustrating. try and take some iron supps or eating iron rich food (green veg, cereal, red meat) if you still worry about aneamia...it might help you feel a little better.

Yeah im a little worried that I have an infection now and the mucus/bleeding is a little strange so defo gunna have to drag myself to doc 2mora!

I couldnt get an appointment but ive explained my situation to receptionist and she is going to get the doctor to ring me as its likely I will just need antibiotics.

Been to doctors and the nurse has done a swab to see if there are any problems there.

The nurse thinks im anaemic, she said i look ill and very pale & tired - I need to ask them to do a blood test on Friday at EPAU to find out.

She also said I may be retaining the placenta so may need a D&C....

I just want it all over with now!

I has something similar after mine and needed a d\e too. It was nowhere near as bad I had expected (and I had it done under local anaesthetic )

At least if you do need one things should settle quickly.

I know what you mean about wanting things to settle- I was exactly the same. You want to feel as if you can close that chapter and think about the future but can't when your body is still all over the place

This is pants news, especially when you just want it to be over. I am glad the nurse is sorting things out for you. Being aneamic is no fun either, you must be exhausted.
I hope everything is ok this week, I am sure a d/e will be ok if it is needed.

such a shame as if losing isn't enough it has to go on and on..... Go back to your GP and make sure you get Answers and help.... This can't be doing you any good...like you said..you just want to heal and start looking forward.... Good luck Sweetie, let us know how you get on,
