Yesterday and the day before I got my injections, today I feel more drained than ever, I have literally spent all day on the couch. It doesn't help that I'm not managing to sleep until 1am then back up at 4 or 5.

Give me some energy please 😁💤

Aw I had steroid injections and couldn't sleep either - apparently it's really common that they make you restless and you feel exhausted. I found that when I had my baby adrenaline kicked in and saw me through xx

Hopefully that's the case with me, it's the though of not being able to have any fluids from the night before until after my section that is bothering me most as I just cannot get rid of thirst just now.

I was told I will be getting 1 steroid injection when u go into labour aswell ! Which is just "great" considering the last thing we all want is being poked with needles lol

I had steriods at 29 weeks whilst in hospital and after the first one I didn't sleep all night but felt tired I thought it was just because I was in hospital though. Will you be completely nil by mouth? Sometimes you can still drink water I know when my son broke his arm he had to go to theatre to get it realigned he could drink water although he was nil by mouth. Although I'm not certain why they have the rule as the morning I had my emergency c section I'd had toast xxx

I'm in Tuesday morning for my section. They've told me not to eat or drink nothing from 9 the night before, but to take my rataddine the night before and that morning with only enough water to swallow them. So I'm not sick in theatre x

Oh I see. I know the nurse in recovery gave me an anti sickness tablet after as I started to feel sick. It was probably because I had eaten. Xxx
