Hello to all!
Just wanted to ask yet another question... sorry I'm so ignorant about some things!
With my previous children I only breastfed and they didn't have any bottles at all until quite big, so I didn't need a steriliser - just used boiling for juice bottles and such. Can anyone recommend sterilisers? or is plain old boiling best?
Thanks for your help
Lisa

Hi again Lisa,

I use the Avent steam steriliser. It was £35 from Kiddicare and it came with a couple of bottles, 3 trays and other bits and pieces. I think it's really good. It sterilises in about 10 minutes and the bottles stay sterile for up to 3 hours. It's a lot less messy than the cold water sterilisers too. :)

i bought the cheapest one from babiesrus as i wasnted one that help any bottles...I am breastfeeding and so have used it for breast pump stuff , the odd bottle and dummies

i have that too

I have got a Tomy steriliser(nearly the same as in link below but the older version) and it is easy to use, quite large and easy to clean. I have never had any problems with it and my Mum used it before me for my little brother which means that it has lasted a good few years already. If not I think that the Avent microwave steriliser has got good reviews and is good as it doesn't take up too much space.

I've got a tommee tippee microwave steriliser, it's fab. Just wash bottles as normal, put a bit of water in the bottom of the steriliser & it goes in the microwave for 6-7 minutes. So easy. I only ever do 1 or 2 bottles & my breast pump at a time though, Austin usually only has 1 bottle a day.

i have the avent express 2 sterlliser which is a microwave one it taks 8 mins and fits 6 bottles or breastpumps it is very good i make up 5 bottles for the whole day so only use it once a day.
