Hi guys, I have been getting quite a lot of shocks when I touch some things the last few days, I kissed my son on the lips in the car last night and we both had a shock..it bloody hurt! Could it be down to the pregnancy or is it to do with the weather? It's not all the time but Its bothering me, will it harm the baby at all?

Ha glad you have posted this Hun I keep getting it from the taps!!!! It does hurt, I'm sure bubbas won't even feel it xx

 my car keeps shocking me! I was actually getting worried there was a short circuit or something but now you've posted this I'm glad - it's hopefully just my little jellybean!

Im getting this too!!!!

i stroked my horse on his muzzle and we got one and he was scared of me for hours afterwards lol. it made us both jump loads!!

Glad it's not just me then, thought I was going cookoo for a sec!

If anything I'm now the opposite, I used to get static shocks all the time but now that I'm pregnant I'm not getting anywhere near as man. I've put it down to my shoes - they're much more sensible now I'm getting big and don't seem to conduct like my old ones lol!

I Keep getting shocks from the handle on the security door to our car park, i was fine for a month but now i get a shock everytime sometimes its just the noice (the click noise) and other times i really feel it. i thought it was strange lol x

you get static electricity from synthetic fabrics that you wear, if you changed to natural fabrics like cotton or wool you shouldnt get the shocks.
