Spotting?

Hi ladies, just a quick question for anyone who can shed light on this please? On friday i was out fishing all day with my ex whos been fab, and i had this massive sneeze (hayfever) and pulled my tummy, when i went loo 3 hours later id lost a light brown discharge which worried me a bit. So i went to docs to get checked out and heard the babys heartbeat for the first time and she reckoned is was just some old gunk my body expelled when i sneezed as it was obviously old blood. Consequently i have had to rest for 48 hours as a precaution and had tiny little smudges for the past 2 days and now nothing. Has anyone else had something like this happen and did it happen again, or do you think it a one off? Either way everything is fine now and beginning to feel baby move loads Hope you are all well and i hope someone can shed light on this mystery!!!!!!! xx

I really don't think you have anything to worry about. It sounds like you have just dislodged some old blood. Hayfever sneezes can be quite violent which is why you may have disloged it, but its highly unlikely that your sneeze caused the bleeding. The blood could have been from a number of things, most likey it was just down to hormonal changes early on.

Glad to read all is well with baby - Please try not too worry too much.

im 19 weeks now and ive had 5 lots of bleeds and spotting all together!!! but everything is ok

you will be ok if you have any problems just go to the docs

Hi Hev, I also had a one off bleed a few weeks ago, everything was ok and I never had any again. When I thought about it after I wondered if I could have strained something as I was a bit constipated I drink lots of OJ now!

lol skatty i think one of mine was caused by straining
