Spotting, but AF arrived

Hello Ladies!

I'm having a bit of a mere. I was in my 2WW and starting getting pregnancy symptoms. Tried not to get my hopes up but totally hard not to.

I had brown spotting for 4 days before my period (Which never ever happens to be before a period) I also had tender boobs and very very mild cramping. I took a test yesterday and it was BFN!

This was day 14 after ovulating. Was going to try again in a few days but my period came last night and now I'm gutted again.

Has this happened to anyone before?

I'm trying to stay positive for trying again but because I have an irregular cycle I can only try every 2 months 🙁

I have the same. A week or a few days before AF I have spotting. Its either implantation or progesterone level drop.

Im going to the doc to check this out.

I have an appointment next week so hopefully I can get some too.

It's very confusing when you think it's a good sign but it's not

Hi ladies, I experienced spotting in my 2ww every month until my consultant put me on progesterone, which completely stopped it. I hope you get some answers soon. Good luck xx

Yeah, it is usually a sign of low progesterone. I used to get it every month too and found that the underlying cause was PCOS xx

Just a quick warning, they will probably try to shrug it off as nothing and tell you it's normal. It might be fine, but it might be indicative of a problem so push to get your hormone levels checked at least! Xx
