Sperm anayalsis shockingly bad

Got my ohs results today and he has a count of zero there was no sperm present at all in both samples so they couldn't check for morphology or motility.
He is having a hormone panel done and will be going for an ultrasound. They think he either has a blockage or inflamed tubes but we shall see.

Oh no! If it’s zero then hopefully it is a blockage or something that they can fix.

I know you must be absolutely gutted but at least they have found something that they can hopefully fix and get you in with a chance xx

Yea from what they were saying it sounds like they think it's a blockage so fingers crossed we get this scan soon we have to go back for bloods becuase his veins were not up for giving any today.

Yea he's upset but is well in the mindset of this can be fixed and it will be fixed and that he will do whatever he needs to to make sure it's fixed and we have a baby

Wow Vintage... I feel for him. Such dissapointing news. I hope they find the issue asap! But that does mean that you were fine all along. It's funny how we women always think we're the ones with the fertility issues. Hope it gets resolved quickly!x

Well no he isn't the only one my thyroid isn't right and without thyroid meds I would not get pregnant anyway even if his sperm was good.
Yea I'm hoping his appointments come through quickly we can drop in when ever for his bloods so hopefully get them done in the next couple of days or on Monday when we are back there anyway

Yea by the looks of it he either isn't even producing sperm or it's a blockage from what the doctor said and what I found out last night so either way looks like we are headed for ivf be it with a donor or having him go through some pretty painful looking procedures to extract sperm straight from his testicles found a really good video on YouTube a doctor actually explaining the full process so from that first sperm analysis to actually getting sperm for ivf was a really good watch and I'll show it to the oh when he wakes up poor buggers on night shifts right now
