Sorry, need to moan

MY OH has started a new job this week, it starts at 6am so we've been getting up at 5am and going to bed at 9pm. We agreed to start TTC last weekend so were up to it at the beginning of the week but by Tuesday night he was too tired (so, so unlike him but he's never usually this tired) so no baby dancing for us Tuesday or Wednesday and tonight he's had to go up to London and I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating right now and he won't be back until tomorrow evening

I know it's early days but once you've started going for it you really want to give it your best don't you. I haven't said anything cos it's not fair- he looks like a zombie as he doesn't deal with sleep deprivation at all well- and it's early days so I'm being silly but I'm just really disappointed that I'll be getting to the end of this month half wondering but knowing that it most probably hasn't happened if you know what I mean. I guess I'm just really impatient, all my friends seem to be up the duff too at the moment and I'm as broody as a hen!

Aww rosebay I can understand how frutrated you are, was it a coincedence that your DH started work or did you know about it?

I hope you and your hubby get some baby dancing together and tomorrow might not be too late.....

If not work around your schedules for next month, I know you want to do it now but sperm quality wont be all that if your hubby is really tired though and has been working hard.

Yes good point about the sperm quality. It wasn't coincidence really- he's been a student for the last year (went back for a post-grad vocational course- we're both 31) and so we decided to wait to TTC no 2 until he had a job, he got the job 4 weeks ago but then we went on holiday so we decided to drink while on holiday rather than not and TTC and then last week was AF so it just happened to time with the very first week of work I guess.

I feel better after a moan, maybe it's a good thing to have another month of clean living anyway as my OH has given up drinking too (not that we drank much anyway but you know!).
