My darling little girl
Anaïs Elisabeth Gorton was born on Friday 29th June at 9.51 pm after a fifteen hour labour
She weighed eight pounds eight ounces and she is fifty one centimetres long.
I will make a proper anouncement when i have a bit more time, but what i will tell you is that despite being an induced birth, i did get to have a natural birth, and the midwife only monitored me at regular intervals, so i did not have to be strapped down, and was able to walk, or use a birthing ball, whatever felt right. On the other hand, i had a magnificent team, both the midwives, doctor and nurses were great, so
I also want to thank you all for your support during the last weeks of pregnancy, as without you girls, I might never have known about the obstetric cholestasis, and it could have been fatal...
