James caught a bad cold last Thursday which meant he was up most of the night Thursday, Friday, Saturday cos he couldnt breathe properly through his nose bless him. He very lovingly passed his cold onto me and I have felt dreadful the past few days wth headache, sore throat and a bit of a cough. James is much better but a bit snuffly but because he has been ill his routine is all messed up and I have been up with him the past two nights from 2am. :(

I feel so achey and crap and its so hard to try and entertain a baby when all I want to do is sleep! I think Ive managed about 10 hours in total in the past 5 days!

It doesnt help that Hubby just snores next to me, and comes downstairs this morning full of the joys of spring and starts going on about plans we have to get an extention to the house in 5 years time and what should we do about the driveway in the meantime.....I DONT F*CKING CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah thats better!! Thanks for listening....

P.S. If there is such a thing as reincarnation Im soooooo coming back as a man.....

pfft. I'd stick drawing pins on the mattress tonight...lets see what sort of nights sleep he has then!!!!!!!

mine got up at 7 this mornign and took the boy away into the living room cos id been up since 4 with him

but how the hell did he sleep through the 4 till 7 :rotfl:

it's true men have selective hearing, Jess can be dadadarrring away at 5am but OH never stirs. If i mention something he likes very quietly he can hear that.

The worst thing is when I get up 5 times in night to tend to Maddisons crying and each time I get back into bed hubby asks 'is she alright?' and when I say to hubby the next day 'bad night with Moo-Moo last night eh?' he will reply with 'was it? I never heard her!' So you dont even remember asking if she was alright then!!!! :shakehead:

poor you

I have never been up all night with either of mine but i'm damned sure if i was DH would be too

lol they live in a different world. I get up every night at 2am, 5am and 7am to breastfeed while he snores beside me. In truth sometimes I want to scream "The baby's hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" right in his ear (as he never hears him cry in the night) and then maybe stick two clamps on his nipples and laugh maniacally at his reaction!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Divorce then being imminent, of course.
