Sore after Scan?!

At my scan yesterday the sonographer had to press down really quite hard on my tummy, as my little one wouldn't co-operate, and the girl couldn't get a good look at the heart. She had me on both sides, shaking my tummy to try n get little one to move....and thought that we might have to come back in 2 weeks for another scan (which would have been nice!!!). I was gritting my teeth with the pain of her pressing down so hard, but now I feel like my tummy is bruised, though it doesnt look it, it just feels very tender to touch.
Is this normal? I was worried it could harm the baby in some way, but ofcourse the sonographer knows what she is doing!!

When I had my first scan I felt like this... from what I understand it can be normal and won't harm the baby. Its just going to be a bit tender for a little while!X

I was a bit sore after my 20 week scan as she was pushing down hard as baby wasn't cooperating. x

I had my scan last wednesday and baby was the same, she could not see hs heart properly and had me turning over too... she didn't prod hard though,she gave me another appointment for next week.
