Does your baby have one? If so, which type and make? Are they bottle or breastfed?

my daughter has one and she has the flat tommie tippie ones she is bottle fed

both rubie and beth have a dummy

beth wont take any other dummy other than the mam ones with the silicone teats - which seem to be getting harder and harder to find :?

rubie cant seem to fit any other dummy other than mam dummies in her mouth though she doesnt appear to be that fussy whether its a latex or a silicone one

both of mine are bottlefed :)

Hi

Olivia used to take a dummy alot when she was really wee, I used the Tommee Tipee Nuby ones as they are supposed to mimick the boob when they suck (they sort of go in and out at the base).

She still uses it sometimes to go to sleep now.

She's breastfed.

I know Zacks not a baby anymore, but he has the orthodontic dummies, shaped like this.....

they are meant to stop baby from getting goofy and problem teeth.
(He was bottle fed)

Just bought some tommy tippy 0+ months ones for unborn.
(going to be breastfed)

Aimee has the tommy tippie dummies with cherry teats. They are the only ones she will have and would not keep the other ones in her mouth. she is bottle fed.

Ella had a freebie avent one and mam ones for a few weeks when she was about 7 weeks old. She's breastfed :) I found it helped her constant comfort feeding :)

Nathan has a dummy. I use mam ones coz the rest he dosent keep in his mouth for long. He's bottle fed.

Damien has the solicone orthodontic ones, only coz he likes them best! He has and always has been bottle fed. He don't mind it if Tesco's own or tommee tippee dummies :D

Jack has Avent ones( they go fom newborn up) won't have any others
he is bottle fed

Lydia doesn't have one - she's bottle fed (was breast fed at first though).

Thanks for your replies girls.

As you may know Isabella is 90% breastfed 10% formula, Ive tried her with quite alot of dummies and she isnt really keen. I didnt know whether it was because she is mainly breastfed.

I have heard the Mam ones are good? What is the difference between Latex & Silicone??

these are the ones lily had as she wouldnt take to any other but she stopped having one at 10mths as she weaned herself off them, she was bottle fed

What age should you be weening a baby/toddler off a dummy? Is it a struggle trying to get them to give it up? My friend's little girl is 2 and she never takes her dummy out so you can't hear what she's saying.

Ive just had a look on Mam website and there is 3 types Im interested in.

Has anyone used these?

Mini Ulti Night Soother
Mini Ulti Clear
Mini Mam Soother

How are the latex and silicone different?

whenever you want I think its more a personal thing. Zacks 2 and he only takes his to bed with him. Trying to take it off him slowly, but he doesnt want to know. I saw a kid in mothercare friday must have been about 4 years old and he had a dummy still :? ...I think 4's a bit to old to be honest.
